For Sale 1991 Jeep Wrangler Sahara 5 speed 4.0 Liter 6 cylinder engine. $6000.00 or make offer., , I bought this in January 2010 from a family member that had it since the day it was new. When purchased it had 279,895 miles on it. The following is the history of this jeep., , At 199,000 miles Taylor & Sons Jeep dealership in which it was originally purchased replaced the engine, transmission, transfer case, radiator, all mounts associated with these parts, and other miscellaneous work. I used to have paperwork on this but can't find it but it can be confirmed with the dealership., , When I purchased in 2010 I installed new water pump, fuel pump, alternator, plugs & wires, distributor cap, and starter. I stripped Jeep down sanded it, patched rust and holes, primed, and new Olive Drab paint on body as well as new black paint on front and rear bumpers. I also removed stock head lights and installed high res xenon bulbs giving it great illumination. New CD/MP3 player with aux plugin for phone/iPod, as well as new front speakers and a new overhead 3 speaker sound bar. New seat covers, carpet,center console, and steering wheel as well. I also outfitted it with Micky Thompson Aluminum Rims and BF Goodrich 30x9.5R15lt All-Terrain T/A tires., , In spring of 2011 I installed a new Bestop Supertop tan removable soft top. This is the top rated soft top for a jeep and is the easiest to put up and down., , The odometer right now is at 282704 and I have put just shy of 3000 miles on it in the last 2 years since the work was done., , It is a 21 year old vehicle and it is not perfect. As with most older wranglers some of the gauges, specifically the oil pressure and fuel level gauges and clock are not fully functioning. It does need a new windshield as the current one is spider webbed and since I don't drive it much I have been lazy about replacing it. It has been quoted at 200 for a brand new windshield installed., , Long of it is this is a great Jeep that has been taken care of. It starts and runs great with no known issues with transmission, clutch or engine. Until 2 months ago I kept this garaged constantly. The only reason for me selling it is I don't drive it enough. I have a company vehicle as well as another SUV and three vehicles in the drive just isn't necessary and for 3000 miles in the last 2 years not worth paying insurance and registration on. It is a fun vehicle to drive with no doors and top in the summer yet it will get through any mud or snow that is thrown at it., , More pictures are available at request.
