No wheel curbing on the perfect chrome 16” Cobra-style wheels. No chips in the glass. No rips or tears in the supple and fully serviceable leather upholstery. New top with crystal clear window and new top cover. No wear spots in the rugs. An aftermarket head unit with I-Pod interface cable powers upgraded but unobtrusive speakers. All electrical and mechanical systems; top, windows, mirrors, lights, gauges, locks, belts, etc, work as they should. Certainly, it would be ridiculous to say this car is perfect, but it’s as close as I’ve ever seen in a nearly 20-year old car., , But the real fun comes under the hood where the overbored (331 CI?) engine has been freshened up with a Ford Racing 303 cam. The intake is upgraded with a Cobra intake plenum, larger MAF sensor, and a cold air intake system. On the exhaust side, the BBK stainless headers fit tight and feed a custom 2 1/2” stainless exhaust system with wicked sounding Flowmaster mufflers. But the beast purrs like a kitten when undisturbed, staying below mid-gauge even with AC on and Georgia heat. Power is now routed through an upgraded 4-speed Overdrive automatic and decent 3.55 highway friendly gearing. , , To reiterate, I challenge you to find a nicer example of this rare, final year Fox body Mustang, if you are into that.
