It looks fantastic with the contrasting Parchment Pony interior. There is no data tag on the door so we are not sure if these are the original colors. The VIN does tell us it is a C code original 289 V-8 car with a 2 barrel carburetor. That carb has been replaced with a 4 barrel unit atop a Ford cast iron manifold. The motor runs strong and has dual exhaust. No power steering or power brakes to rob power so performance is good. A GT-350 style export brace and shock tower brace were installed for strength. This car has the 289 Hi-Po badges on the fender. GT light bar, and 68/69 GT color coded styled steel wheels but it is not a GT. The raised white letter tires look brand new. The good news is this car has a 4 speed. That makes for fun driving and it shifts very smoothly. The interior is very nice with the aforementioned deluxe Pony interior, gauge package, aftermarket digital radio, full console, and newer vinyl fabrics. There is a small hole in the driver seat about the size of the end of a pen. Overall the interior shows very nicely. The trunk is show quality with a typical factory style plaid vinyl trunk mat and spare tire cover. The overall car is a nice entry level unit or you could take it to the next level with more GT additions. This is one of those cars that you could drive ever day if you wish.
