WE PURCHASED THIS CAR A FEW MONTHS AGO WITH JUST 5,900 MILES ON IT. I'VE PERSONALLY BEEN ENJOYING IT, SO THERE ARE NOW ABOUT 7,500 MILES ON IT. THERE IS A BIT OF A STORY ON THE HISTORY OF THIS CAR.........WHILE SITTING IN THE FORD SHOWROOM WITH THE TOP DOWN, THE SPRINKLER SYSTEM ACTIVATED AND GOT THIS CAR WET. IT WAS PAID OFF BY THE INSURANCE COMPANY, AND SUBSEQUENTLY GIVEN A TITLE THAT NOTES THE WATER / FLOOD DAMAGE. IT IS ALL ORIGINAL, NO PAINTWORK, NO ACCIDENTS, GARAGE KEPT, AND EVERYTHING IS IN GOOD WORKING ORDER. IT WAS PROFESSIONALLY CLEANED, AND THE ONLY COMPONENT THAT NEEDED TO BE REPLACED WAS A CALLED A SMART/JUNCTION BOX. THIS BOX CONTROLS MANY FEATURES, AND IT WAS CAUSING THE GAS GAUGE TO WORK INTERMITTENTLY. WE REPLACED IT AT GIBBONS FORD, AND ALL IS WELL. THIS IS A GREAT CAR TO SIT ON FOR 20 YEARS, AND TO ENJOY OCCASIONALLY. , , I'LL CONTINUE TO DRIVE IT ON THESE BEAUTIFUL SUMMER DAYS, AND I'LL PUT IT IN MY GARAGE THIS WINTER.
