Dodge is an American brand cars, minivans and sport utility vehicles, produced and marketed by Chrysler Group LLC in over 60 countries and territories around the world.
The company was founded as Dodge Brothers Company in 1900 for the supply of parts and assemblies for Detroit's automobile industry growth. The company began producing its own complete cars in 1914. Chrysler Group LLC bought the brand in 1928 and is now a part of the Chrysler Group, which has an alliance with Fiat. Fiat wants to produce many of Chrysler Group LLC brands like Dodge, Chrysler, Jeep and platforms and products on Fiat-Chrysler vehicles co-developed.
