The Mechanic drove this Silverado for around 43 miles or so to make sure it was working great and he told me he had to admit, he loved this vehicle. He assured me that this vehicle has been taken extremely well care of and it shows, inside and out! It drives like new and looks that way too. , , There are absolutely no mechanical issues that we could find with this 2000 Chevy Silverado LS 1500 3rd door 4WD, it drives very well. We’ve put around 22 miles on it and there were no abnormal noises in the drive train, and it handles as well in town as it did on the open road. The transmission shifts smooth through all gears with no issues, it doesn't "clunk" or shift in to gear hard. A lot of these go more than 300.000 miles plus and are still in great running condition, I have personally seen them in the 350,000 plus miles range still running great.
