This was a rust free California car to begin with and was given the royal treatment during an extensive restoration. The heart of this Bel Air is the 409, built by LWA High Performance Engines. It has been balanced and topped off with HEI ignition, mild hydraulic cam, MSD 6AL controller, two Carter 4 barrel carburetors, roller rockers, polished and ported heads, gear drive, Robert Walden aluminum water pump, custom headers running to 2 1/2" aluminized exhaust, and lots of chrome! The transmission was not left stock either. It is an M20 wide ratio 4 speed manual with Hurst competition linkage, and 11" clutch with Lakewood bulletproof bellhousing. Options include hub caps, power steering, power brakes, new front disc brakes, billet tilt steering column, and cloth and vinyl interior. The engine, transmission, body, interior, suspension, tires, wheels, exhaust, and much more were returned to like new condition during this restorarion.
