This is a 1987 Chevy 1500 short bed custom deluxe pickup , with a 305 motor and a turbo 350 transmission , with ice cold air condition, ps/pb . On a visit to Florida to see relatives , my cousin told me about this pickup that was in the garage of a lady he knew, so being a car and truck hobbyist, I went to see it. As the story goes, the lady told me her husband redid the truck. It was originally green changed to the color as you see it now. The motor and transmission was also redone (according to the wife) therefore I cannot verify both the mileage and the rebuild. The state of Florida has mileage exempt for vehicles over 15 years old. But if you look at the truck no bondo or rust anywhere. I purchased the truck shipped it home where i installed a new gas tank rear sliding window power stirring pump and a lot more . As i have enjoyed this truck without any problems. But for living in the east coast with the winter coming up i need to sell the truck for a 4x4. , , The truck runs and drives excellent. Drive it home, everthing works except the radio it stopped , could be a easy fix, all brakes stop as the should , truck shifts as it should, all lights work, air cond works. The interior is near to perfect , look at the pictures . Solid floors frame, bed excellent. Try and find a cleaner one. As i stated the truck reads 50,000 miles have title in hand , ready to go. This is one of the best trucks i have had , gets alot of attention when i drive it. The paint is excellent as is the stripes on the sides.
