The vehicle has averaged right around 6700 miles per year, that's really good considering most average drivers put 15,000-18,000 miles per year on a vehicle., , There are no mechanical issues with the vehicle so I am including a nation wide warranty through a warranty company at no additional cost ( $0 deductible ). You are also welcome to have the vehicle inspected by your own mechanic as well., , Mechanically, I normally have my vehicles for about a week before I put them up for sale. This allows me enough time to drive every single vehicle for a couple days before I get them serviced. I like doing this because it gives me a great idea on the mechanical / cosmetic condition of the car. I put approx 80 miles on this car and it drives great. The gas mileage is great considering its a large luxury sedan. It gets close to 30 mpg on the highway using cruise control. The engine does not make any abnormal noises, no ticking or knocking. It starts right up, idles very smooth when in park and accelerates without any hesitation or jerking. The transmission shifts very smooth through all the gears with no issues, it doesn't clunk or shift in to gear hard. Highway passing gear is also great with no abnormal "jerking". The steering feels good with no abnormal shakes at highway speeds. The ride in this car is very smooth, it floats on the highway and feels very good in town. You dont feel every little bump on the road thanks to the smooth suspention. There are no mechanical issues with the car at all and I wouldn't hesitate to drive it on a 1000 mile round trip., , If you do a internet search on these, you will see that the 3.8L V6 engine is good for a long time. A lot of these have north of 150.000 miles and are still in great running condition, I have personally seen them in the 200.000 miles range still running great. This one has has right around 53,000 miles so it still has alot of life left., , I always buy Buicks because I have never had any problems with them. I have had over 10 of these and they just keep going. They are proven to last and I would rather sell a vehicle with a solid drivetrain reputation then one with a problematic one., , The 3.8L V6 in the car is a well known engine in the GM line-up, they have had the engine around for close to 20 years. They put this engine in Pontiac Grand Prix, Chevy Impala, Buick Lesabre and some of their other mid size GM vehicles. GM even puts the same exact engine in some of the 2011 Buick and Chevy. So needless to say these are great motors and should last you a long time with regular maintenance., , Electrical, The AC and heat works great, heated seats work, power sunroof works, cruise works just like it should, power windows work, power seat works, power door locks work and so does the radio., , Exterior, The car was very well cared for by the previous owner and it definitely shows. The over all paint condition is in great shape considering its a 2002.
