*****1963 Buick Electra 225 Convertible with 21,815 original miles!***** , , This is a very beautiful car in very good condition. The original 401 Nailhead V8 (325 H.P.) and automatic transmission still power this Buick down the road! The prior owner states that the engine was rebuilt in 1999. Cosmetically over its 48 year life it has a few small rust spots (dime sized) on the hood and slightly in other various places (but can be fixed easily), small scratch on right rear quarter panel (about 4-5\" long) and some nicks in paint. This vehicle may have had some work done on the left rear quarter panel (seems rough to the touch in that area). The chrome has some pitting as well. This classic shows off its beautiful yellow paint and tan interior (Excellent condition) with a brown convertible top which provides a very classy look. This car was garage kept all of its life until very recently (No room in garage) and I was told by the prior owner that it was not driven much over the past years. The engine runs well, but seems to have a miss, some minor seepage and smokes a bit. The only real leak of concern is the power steering gear box output shaft seal. Power windows, power seat, clock, turn signals and lights, power trunk, power antenna all work. Newer parts (that I can see) include convertible top, exhaust, and battery. Most of the car is original including chrome, interior, weatherstripping, all metal, and drivetrain with the exception (according to the original paint tag code) of a repaint at some point in time. With a small investment this vehicle could be worth almost twice as much as it is offered at.
