IT WAS IN NON-OPERATIONAL CONDITION WHEN ACQUIRED. THIS CAR WAS IN A HEATED AIRPORT HANGER (DOWN BY ST LOUIS CAR HAD A ILLINOIS TITLE) WITH WAX ALL OVER EVERY THING WINDOWS WHEELS BUMPERS ANY THING EXPOSED HAD WAX ON IT THEN IT HAD A CAR COVER OVER IT. I BROUGHT IT BACK TO THE HOME TOWN WHERE IT WAS CONCEIVED AND STARTED THE PROCESS OF BRINGING IT BACK TO LIFE CHANGING OUT ALL OF THE FLUIDS, CLEAN AND ROD OUT RADIATOR, NEW HOSES,AND BELT WATER PUMP AND DOING THE BRAKES AND MASTER CYLINDER. I PUT A NEW OLD STOCK CARBURETOR AND NEW FUEL PUMP, PLUGS AND POINTS., PCV valve, gas filter, had the transmission /rear end serviced out. Compression check on engine done all cylinders 138-150, wheel bearings re-packed,. All lights gauges and instrument panel work with no problems IT IS A WONDERFUL DRIVER VERY CLEAN NO RUST TRUNK IS STUNNINGLY PERFECT NO RUST ISSUES TO DEAL WITH. GREAT ORIGINAL CAR, I ALSO HAVE HAD THE FRONT END AL-LINED AND SOME MINOR REPAIRS. I WOULD HAVE NO PROBLEM GETTING IN THIS CAR AND DRIVING TO CALIFORNIA TOMORROW AND NOT HAVE A WORRY IF THE CAR WILL MAKE IT THERE.
