The most important thing about this car is its great gas mileage, up to 48 in the city and 59 highway., This car has a salvage title, but was repaired years ago and is in great shape. The previous owner is an automobile shop teacher who also spends a lot of time rebuilding and selling cars on the side. He did a great job. The car is in excellent condition. This particular car he rebuilt for his wife. His wife drove the car for several years and loved it. She hated giving it up, but she had two kids. The car’s a two-seater, and she was tired of having to switch cars with her husband every time she had to pick up both of her kids. When I bought the car from her I couldn’t imagine the two seats being a problem for me for quite awhile. I’ve driven the car for almost two years, and it’s been great. I have had absolutely no problems with it. The car drives smooth as ever. However, I recently started a pretty permanent job as a nanny for two children. I am in the same position the former owner was in. I have had to temporarily switch cars with a family member, and while she is enjoying the great gas mileage of my car, she wants her car back. I hate to give up my car, but unfortunately I don’t really have a choice. The car is in great condition and has very low mileage for its year (under 85000!)., The previous owner (an auto shop teacher) and I have both taken excellent care of this wonderful car. I have recently purchased four new tires for the car (Pirelli All Season Slip-Resistant Tires). I always made sure oil changes, brake fluid replacement, tire rotations, etc., everything the car needed was taken care of in a timely fashion. This car is in great shape and has very low mileage for its year. This car has climate control air conditioning which is not standard in every 2002 Insight.
