1964 Chevrolet Corvette Sting Ray Convertible, , This Vette started life in the SCCA racing lane and died doing the same. It was found in a garage and was basically a piece of junk. A total frame off restoration to bring it back to its racing glory began in 2008 and has just recently been completed. Some modifications have been added to make it street legal. The large overhead bar has been chopped to include just 2 roadster head bars which allowed the addition of a totally restored hardtop for winter driving enjoyment. All systems are upgraded and it drives better than when it rolled off the showroom floor. There are only 2000 miles on the restoration of the small block chevy engine; which packs 383 cubic inches and a mild street cam. It comes with Summit Racing heads, EPS intake, and Elderbrock carb and is completely chromed including the alternator, water pump, fuel pump, and fuel filter. Chrome Holley headers and side pipes. Transmission is a Richmond 4 plus 1. Fuel cell is an ATL 565 - 22 gallon unit with 3/8" high performance stainless braided fuel lines. All new racing suspension. Original Tilton front to rear brake balancer. Less than 250 miles on new high performance tires.
